Have you found yourself looking in the grocery aisles for ingredients to use in your beauty products? You can't pick up a magazine or go further than a few clicks online without reading about some natural uncomplicated ingredient that is beneficial for your skin. I love this change in thinking because there is so much you can do for your skin naturally without the addition of many unnecessary chemicals.
Let’s talk about Avocado Oil
Avocados are originally from Mexico and South America but are now cultivated all over the world because they are just so darn scrumptious and good for you. Everyone wants them close at hand. Cold pressed oil is important (extracted at lower temperature) as minimal refinement preserves its nutrients like calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, copper, manganese, phosphorus and zinc. Avocado Oil also contains important minerals such as vitamin C, B6, B-12, A, D, K, E, thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin and is rich in potassium, phytosterols, carotenoids, flavonoids, beta-carotene and lycopene. Beta-carotene and lycopene have been connected with improving the health and tone of skin and eliminating signs of premature aging. Now that’s what I’m looking for!
Avocado Oil is also high in sterolins, which are said to be beneficial in lessening scars, diminishing age spots, and super moisturizing the upper layers of the skin. It’s simply an awesome all round amazing oil to use on your skin.
Use it neat? Definitely! Let’s face it though, it isn’t always the best practice when we are just about to apply our make-up, lay our heads on clean linen, or if it’s hot and humid. Sometimes it's just too much. Using it already incorporated into a smooth rich cream or lotion that isgoing to disperse and penetrate evenly is a little more practical. That is exactly what we have done, two beautiful products that are heavenly on your skin:
It’s thick and rich, has oodles of avo oil, added hyaluronic acid which can hold a hundred times its weight in water which helps hold moisture to the skin, as well as other specifically chosen natural good for your skin ingredients.
Use as your daily and nightly moisturizer and see how healthy and youthful your skin starts to feel and look in no time at all. For all skin types but most especially mature.
Ingredients: orange blossom hydrosol, avocado, apricot Kernel, hyaluronic acid (4%), rosehip seed and evening of primrose oils, veg emulsifying wax, beeswax, shea butter, vit. e, carrot tissue, jasmine, sandalwood and rosa demascena e.o., optiphen (99.5% natural ingredients)
Beautiful exotic Ylang Ylang (tropical flower from Java, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Madagascar) is used in in this product along with Avocado Oil to help balance overly dry skin. It smells exquisite and has a little touch of mica in it to give your skin a dewy glow. A truly luxurious butter to use all over your body for baby soft skin.
